Christy Dutilly

I am a stay at home mother of three ages 8, 10 and 13. I am wife to a great guy named Mark. My greatest goal right now is to get him out of his job and retire him early (very early!)! I have a degree in Elementary Education but I am "unemployable". I am a true entrepreneur and cannot imagine ever working for someone else. I love my life, my freedom and my businesses.

My first real job, after teaching sailing and being a ski bum for a season was as a Realtor. I worked for a high end real estate firm in Vermont and had my Brokers' license by my mid 20's. I loved the pace, the money and I do love real estate but...we had our first child. It was not a career or a pace that was fair to either of us.

The novelty of being a stay at home wore off. I wasn't willing to watch one more episode of Oprah and I really didn't care if the clothes piled up in the laundry room. There had to be more and I was going to find a way to give, do and be without taking away from my babies. By now I had two and we had move to warmer Virginia ( I could take the laundry piling up but not the snow!).

So I'll admit it. I bought one of those courses off of late night TV and we started buying real estate. You would think my previous experience was a factor but this was a completely different animal. It was a wild ride. I remember being up painting houses at 2am because Mark was able to be home with the kids. My HVAC (heating and air) guy was as comfortable with one of my babies on his hip as I was. It was a little out of control! More than a full time job and more than full time stress. We had rentals and I was flipping houses. It was fun and crazy and out of control!

This led us to Maui Millionaires. We found a community of people building exceptional businesses and wealth in all areas of their lives.  We learned to begin building a lifestyle along with building businesses.  Quality of life was an essential part of building wealth. Now our businesses and our lives are interconnected and support each other. I like to say we are building  life and for me that includes building the business. It also includes leaving a legacy, creating better health, better relationships and making the world a better place.

Now I own more property but have property managers and partners to help with the details. I have two  successful network marketing businesses but again I have partners and leverage my time. I have an online business we are growing together. We live full time on a beautiful lake in Virginia. A place we had planned to retire to in 20 some years and I have time to be a nearly professional volunteer (PTA President, Rotary and many causes near and dear to my heart).  We are working on creating the perfect life with passion for what we do and contribute. We honor quality time as a family and grow our businesses to support that freedom.

My desire is to help others create the same kind of freedom I have. To have choices and to be able to stay home with your children while creating long term wealth for your family. A respected friend, mom and attorney once introduced me by saying "Christy is adept at helping women particularly moms figure out what they want and how to get it. Nothing is impossible" . I honor and cherish that. Please feel free to contact me.

Wendy Ing

Wendy Ing is so fortunate to have a wonderful husband, Tommaso Ivagnes, and a lovely 4 year old little boy, Luca. She loves being a stay at home mom and is surprised that she enjoys it as much as she does because she never really imagined herself having kids before Luca came along.

Wendy became a mom after being quite a few other things before that. Her background is in architecture and she has a masters degree from Harvard University. She has worked as an architect in England, Italy and the US. She has also taught architecture graduate design at Yale University. She loves architecture and design, she just doesn't love the pay, the hours, or working for someone else.

She left architecture with a colleague and came to NYC from London to open a healthy fast food and catering shop in Wall Street in 1995. Wendy learned a tremendous amount about setting up systems, marketing, branding, hiring, firing, and all that goes into owning and running your own business. According to Rich Dad’s Cashflow Quadrant, Wendy was a self employed business person. If you took her out of the equation, she had no income.

Rich Dad’s books, in fact, led her to becoming a real estate investor, and with her husband they bought their first investment property in Brooklyn in 2004. His books also led her to Maui Mastermind, a unique wealth retreat, and meeting Christy & Mark Dutilly, which led to purchasing $5M worth of real estate investments in 2007, including an apartment complex in Texas and a residential renovation in the Hamptons.

Moving to the right side of Rich Dad’s Cashflow Quadrant has been a huge step and she is currently focusing on managing and building cashflowing assets and exploring new business opportunities, while being home with her 4 year old little boy. Wendy and her family live in Brooklyn, New York.
